Square Enix revealed its E3 lineup, the new Kingdom Heart title is a DS port of the cellphone game Kingdom Heart Re:Coded.

Algunas breves de Square Enix.

- Square Enix announced Dungeon Siege 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will be produced by Gas Powered Games and producer Chris Taylor will oversee the project. The game will support 4 player co-operate play.
- Square Enix and Kojima Productions will be working on a new collaboration project, details will be revealed soon. The two companies have already worked together on a few things, such as MGS Peace Walker figurines and having Front Mission character/objects in MGS Peace Walker.

Square Enix hace offering para comprar Tecmo

Interesante. El dá hoy Square ofreció en una operación de "takeover" amistoso, la opción de adquirir Tecmo como una subsidaria a un precio por acción de 920 yenes. El total se estima en $205 millones de dólares. La oferta expira el 4 de septiembre.

Square Enix recomienda a Sony cambiar su marketing

El presidente de Square Enix, Yoichi Wada dijo a la agencia de noticias Reuters que recomienda a Sony cambiar la estrategia de marketing del PS3, ya que en un principio se planteó a la consola como un sistema de entretenimiento sofisticado, y aunque tecnologicamente lo és, no cumple en realidad con todo un sistema de medios para lograrlo.

Yoichi considera que esto confundió a los consumidores.

Nuevo juego de Square y Disney

Testsuya Nomura, presidente de Square Enix comentó que actualmente están trabajando en nuevo título basado en el universo Disney. El negó definitivamente que se tratará de Kingdom Hearts III.

Square Enix registra nuevo FF XIII

Square Enix acaba de rgistrar una nueva marca bajo el nombre de Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII y que parece ser una "saga" o título no anunciado de la nueva serie de Final Fantasy XIII Nova Cristallis.
