The Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura mentioned that yet more titles in the Kingdom Hearts franchise are being planned, besides the three KH games that are already in development.

ESRB reported that SCEA has 15 new games coming to PSP in North America, including Finger Connection, Homerun Hitters, Love Cupid, Busy Sweets Factory, Charge! Tank Squad!, Music Quiz, One Two Boat Racing, Pile Up Bakery, Pinball Duel, Quiz Animania, Ramen Heaven, Sheep Defense, Shogi, Sweet Reversi, and Tonzurakko. These titles are rated exclusively for PSP, so they are likely not PSP Minis games as they work on both PSP and PS3.Square Enix has registered The 4 Heroes of Light for trademark protection in USA, which seems to be the English name of Hikari no 4 Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden for DS.
- Enterbrain announced Sony's PlayStation 3 have sold over 5 million units in Japan since its launch on Nov 11, 2006. The best selling game in Japan is Final Fantasy XIII, sold 1,883,828 units in Japan.
- Sony announced over 1 million units of Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain were sold worldwide since its launch in February 2010.
- Music composer Yuzo Koshiro, who previously worked on Shenmue, Street of Rage and ActRaiser, announced he is working on a new Xbox Live action RPG called Mamotte Knight, which will be published by Ancient in Japan this year. In the game you must protect the princess by setting up barricades to ward off monsters, the game will have 4 players support.Microsoft announced that Epic Games' Gears of War 3 will be coming to Xbox 360 on April 5, 2011, there will be new enemies called the lambents, which is a type of monster with tentacles that continue to mutate as you fight them....
- Capcom announced that Lost Planet 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360 will have bonus playable characters, including Frank West from Dead Rising and Wesker from Resident Evil. The PS3 version will also get exclusive Monster Hunter costumes.
- Level 5 announced they are collaborating with the creator of the Chunsoft's 428 director Jiro Ishii on a new game, the game will have time travel element and have a large game world. Level 5 expects the game to turn into a popular series. No platform or game title has been announced yet.
- Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto mentioned in his Twitter page that the PSone classic Dew Prism [Threads of Fate] will be coming to PlayStation Network soon after FFIX.
- Sony announced the PS3 will get its 3-D View upgrade in June, four PS3 titles will support 3-D View, including Wipeout HD, PAIN, Super Stardust HD and MotorStorm Pacific Rift.
- Atlus USA mentioned that its hit PS3 action RPG Demon's Soul has sold over 280,000 copies, exceeded its sales forecast by over 3 times.
