Desperate Escape features Jill Valentine and chopper pilot Josh Stone on a mysterious support mission.
A recent issue of Famitsu reveals that a second chapter will be included in the "Alternative Edition" DLC that features Jill Valentine and BSAA regular Josh Stone.
Previous reports of the new content (which arrives in Japan on disc February 2010, and later in the U.S. as downloadable content) revealed that the first episode (titled Lost In Nightmares) is half of a two-pack of side missions that expand upon the Resident Evil storyline. Desperate Escape rounds out the new content and drops players back into the shoes of Jill Valentine as she and Stone try to survive a support mission gone wrong.
Resident Evil 5 "Alternative Edition" is coming to North American shores in the spring of 2010, and will feature support for the Sony Motion Controller as well as the two new episodes. No word yet on whether or not U.S. and European consumers will be capable of purchasing the episodes separately or whether they'll be forced to pay for the whole package.
