Arcana Heart 3 en Invierno en Japón. ¿Y en América?

Para quien no lo haya jugado se está perdiendo de combos masivos, movimientos impresionantes, una gran animación y maniobrabilidad.

Arcana Heart salió originalmente en América para el Playstation 2. Hasta donde recuerdo, no contamos con la secuela. Pero, con el anuncio del lanzamiento en Japón en diciembre de este año, puede que nos den la sorpresa. Estará disponible en aquel país tanto para Xbox 360 como para PS3. Sin duda una excelente opción para quien gusta de títulos como Guilty Gear or Blaz Blue.

Juanes, el primer latino en integrarse a Rockband

Tanto tiempo se estuvo especulando sobre la fecha de lanzamiento de Rock en español para el videojuego Rockband y finalmente, se confirma que Juanes será el primero. Su material estará disponible a partir de la próxima semana. Entre las canciones estará su nuevo sencillo "Yerbatero"

¿"The Last Story" será la última historia de Hironobu Sakaguchi?

El padre de la saga original de "Final Fantasy" fue entrevistado hace algunos días respecto al lanzamiento de su nuevo título multi consola, llamado "The Last Story" para Sakaguchi, este trabajo representó más del 120% de su esfuerzo y el de su equipo de trabajo. En un "aparente" error de traducción, se entendió que Sakaguchi dejaría de hacer juegos, lo cuál inquietó a los fans. Les dejó la traducción "textual" o más cercana a lo que dijo en inglés. Aún la estoy leyendo, y a mi en lo personal, me da la misma impresión. ¿Qué opinan?

Sakaguchi has clarified a mistranslation of a comment he recently made regarding to The Last Story as his last project, which is untrue. He said "The energy poured into this project by the development team and I are 120%. I’m hoping you can understand that, however on the other hand, I feel worried and nervous like sending my child on a trip alone. Emotionally it feels like this is my last work, while pouring everything I have gotten into this project. Never regret, but now "I’m enjoying”; furthermore, aiming towards completion. The sense of “This is it” relaxes my shoulders, its pleasant feeling to conduct an orchestra by the sense of my intuition.".

Las ocho y todo sereno...

La industria de los juegos de videos ha estado algo callada. Principalmente, luego de los importantes anuncios que se llevaron a cabo en el E3 hace algunas semanas. Lo más representativo es la llegada de contenido de Zune al mercado Mexicano para Septiembre por parte de Xbox 360 (Microsoft). Con ello, se espera contar con la descarga directa de películas, y música tanto en compra como en renta.

Por otro lado, Sony anunció que prepara una nueva actualización de su firmware para Septiembre que contendrá la capacidad de reproducir videos y películas ya en formato 3D (incluídas las películas en formato Blu-Ray)

El famoso Hacker del iPhone conocido como Geohot y cuyo nombre real es George Hotz, anunció que se retira de las escenas del hackeo para dedicarse a otras cosas. Al parecer, se fastidió de la solicitud de tanta gente para que siguiera con más "investigaciones" prometió dar una despedida mucho más formal.

Esto hasta el momento. Creo que el Martes 13 no ayudó mucho con las notas. :)

Comercial Japones de Playstation Move

Aquí les dejo un comercial que se está transmitiendo en Japón respecto a la funcionalidad del Playstation Move. Espero les guste.

Tetsuya Nomura confirma que Final Fantasy XIII Versus está listo en el Pre-diseño

Tanto personajes, como historia, así como vestuario se encuentran listos. Si esto es cierto, lo demás debería fluir con más velocidad. Dado que el engine ya fue creado. Así mismo Nomura comentó que el juego volverá a lo básico de un Final Fantasy, como es el viajar en barco volador o poder explorar en el mapa. También confirma que será un juego obscuro y bastante violento.

Este juego es la secuela de la Saga Fabula Nova Crystallis.

Xbox anuncia que Kinect podrá soportar hasta seis jugadores

Lo que al parecer está por confirmar es en qué estado... Y no me refiero de ebriedad :) Al parecer, Kinect registra hasta seis jugadores, pero sólo dos de forma simultánea. Esperemos que esto cambie después.

Las breves del día Xbox 360

- Square Enix producer Hiromichi Tanaka mentioned that there is no current plans for a Xbox 360 version of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. Tanaka said that they are still talking to Microsoft for a possible Xbox 360 version, but right now they are only working on the PS3 and PC version.


- Microsoft plans to offer a Kinect Xbox 360 Bundle Pack in autumn 2010 worldwide, according to an internal marketing report from Microsoft.

Las breves del día de Playstation 3

- Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida said that Gran Turismo 5 will have night races, variable weather conditions, damage models, stunt areas, go-kart races and track editor in the game.

- Eat Sleep Play's David Jaffe said that his studio has been working on the PS3 car combat game Twisted Metal for 18 months. The game will not have 3-D support, due to the frame rate is slightly below 60fps. The game will not support PlayStation Move either.

- Quantic Dream said further downloadable content for Heavy Rain is indefinitely put on hold, as the focus has been changed to integrate PlayStation Move to the game, which will be released as an update patch, and a new release of the game disc is also planned this fall.

- Sony said that the PlayStation Move has made its first debut in Japan during the World Hobby Fair last week, both EyePet and Kung Fu Rider were playable.

- Japanese firm Digital Media Professionals Inc announced that the Nintendo 3DS will adopt its DMP 3D Graphics IP Core PICA200, which features proprietary DMP 3D graphics extensions "Maestro technology", which provides high end naked-eye 3D stereo vision and graphics rendering power whilst maintaining low power consumption.
- Nintendo revealed a new trailer of 3DS, which revealed several NES and SNES classics which will be coming to 3DS with 3D effects, including:

• Yoshi's Island
• Smash Ping Pong - Mario Bros.

- Capcom said the 3DS version of Resident Evil Revelations is being produced using the MT Framework that powered Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2. The 3DS game will also take advantage of a portable machine.

- Sony announced Twisted Metal will be coming to PlayStation 3 in 2011, with 16 players online play.
- Polyphony Digital announced Gran Turismo 5 will due in North America on November 2, 2010, the game will have PlayStation Move and 3-D support.
- Valve announced that Portal 2 will be coming to PlayStation 3, the PS3 version will have exclusive features like Twitter updates.
- Sony announced the PlayStation Move will launch in North America on Sept 19, in Europe on Sept 15 and Japan on Oct 21. The prices are as follow: PlayStation Move - $49.99, Navigation Controller - $29.99, PS Move + PlayStation Eye camera Bundle - $99.99.
- Sony will release a PlayStation Move Bundle Pack for $399.99, which includes the PS3 console, PlayStation Move, Navigation Controller and the PlayStation Eye Camera.
- Sony announced Heroes on the Move for PS3, a new PlayStation Move platformer featuring 6 playable characters from Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank.
- Guerilla Games announced Killzone 3 will be available in February 2011, and fully compatible with 3-D and PlayStation Move.
- Sony announced Sly Collection for PS3, which is the remake of the PS2 Sly Cooper titles on PS3, with 3-D support. Sony also mentioned that there will be over twenty 3-D titles by the end of the year.

El futuro es hoy... Kinect es su nombre.

Ya ha comenzado el E3. La expectación ha sido grande y no es por menos. Tanto Microsoft como Sony presentarán sus nuevas ofertas y sus lineas de juegos. En este caso, Project Natal ya sido bautizado como Kinect. Los mantendremos al tanto del avance de esta noticia.

Warner Bros. announced Mortal Kombat for PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will have a new game engine and there will be all new finish moves and a new Tag Team mode for up to 4 players.

Algunas breves de Square Enix.

- Square Enix announced Dungeon Siege 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will be produced by Gas Powered Games and producer Chris Taylor will oversee the project. The game will support 4 player co-operate play.
- Square Enix and Kojima Productions will be working on a new collaboration project, details will be revealed soon. The two companies have already worked together on a few things, such as MGS Peace Walker figurines and having Front Mission character/objects in MGS Peace Walker.
